USER AGREEMENT

Your use of a Schön makellos website and services available on website is governed by the following terms and conditions.

AMENDMENT TO USER(S) AGREEMENT

Schön makellos may change, modify, amend, or update this agreement from time to time without any prior notification to user(s) and the amended and restated terms and conditions of use shall be effective immediately on posting. You are advised to regularly check for any amendments or updates to the terms and conditions contained in this User Agreement. If you do not adhere to the changes, you must stop using the service. Your continuous use of the service will signify your acceptance of the changed terms.

USER(S) ELIGIBILITY

User(s) means any individual or business entity/organization that legally operates in India or in other countries, uses and has the right to use the services provided by Schön makellos. Our services are available only to those individuals or companies who can form legally binding contracts under the applicable law i.e. Indian Contract Act, 1872. As a minor if you wish to purchase or sell an item on the Website such purchase or sale may be made by your legal guardian or parents who have registered as users of the Website. Schön makellos advises its users that while accessing the website, they must follow/abide by the related laws. Schön makellos is not responsible for the possible consequences caused by your behaviour during use of website. Schön makellos may, in its sole discretion, reserve the right to terminate your membership and refuse to provide you with access to the Website at any time.

ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

When You use the Website or send emails or other data, information or communication to Schön makellos, You agree and understand that You are communicating with Schön makellos through electronic records and You consent to receive communications via electronic records from Schön makellos periodically and as and when required.

REGISTRATION AND YOUR ACCOUNT

To become a Registered User(s) there is a proper procedure which is for the convenience of user(s) so that they can easily log-in and log-out.

User(s) can become a Registered User(s) by filling an on-line registration form on the website by giving desired information (name, contact information, details etc.). Schön makellos will establish an account (“Account”) for the user(s) upon registration and assign a user alias (“User ID”) and password (“Password”) for log-in access to your Account. If you use the Website as Registered User, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your User ID and Password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your personal and non-personal information and for restricting access to your computer, computer system and computer network, and you are responsible for all activities that occur under your User ID and Password , email id and cell number as the case may be.

USE OF THE Schön makellos WEBSITE

You understand and agree that Schön makellos and the Website merely provide hosting services to its Registered Users and persons browsing/visiting the Website. All items advertised/listed and the contents therein are advertised and listed by Registered Users and are third party user generated contents. Schön makellos has no control over the third party user generated contents.

Please note that in accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediaries guidelines) Rules 2011 in case of non-compliance with user agreement and privacy policy for access or usage of intermediary computer resource, the Intermediary has the right to immediately terminate the access or usage rights

From time to time, you shall be responsible for providing information relating to the items or services proposed to be sold by you. In this connection, you undertake that all such information shall be accurate in all respects. You shall not exaggerate or over emphasise the item-specifics of such items or services so as to mislead other Users in any manner.

Return Policy

Return Period after Delivery will be for 7days and it is applicable if product received is Defective or Damaged or Not as Described.

If you have received a damaged or defective product or if it is not as described, you can raise a replacement request on the Website within the applicable Returns Policy period. In a rare event of the replacement being defective/damaged or not as described on the product page, a full refund will be provided by the seller once they receive the product.

For products where installation is provided by Schön makellos:

1      Please do not open the product packaging by yourself. Schön makellos authorized personnel shall help in unboxing and installation of the product.

2      The return period for such products commences from the date of installation.

How does Schön makellos help in resolving any issue with a product purchased on Schön makellos Website

Returns Processing

If you’re facing any issues with a product purchased on Schön makellos, we shall help by verifying and trying to resolve your product issue as part of the return verification process. The Issue resolution steps may be shared with you as self-help, or with assistance over call or a Schön makellos (or partner) personnel may visit your place. We will arrange for a replacement if the issue has not been resolved.

Issue resolution steps will be available for products like sinks, accessories etc.

In case the item is not in stock or has been permanently discontinued, the refund for the entire product or part(s) of the product will be provided.

Returns Pick-Up

During pick-up, your product will be checked for the following conditions.

1      Correct Product

IMEI/name/image/brand/serial number/article number/bar code should match and MRP tag should be un detached and clearly visible.

2      Complete Product

All in-the-box accessories, freebies and combos (if any) should be present.

3      Unused Product

The product should be unused, unwashed, unsoiled, without any stains and with non-tampered quality check seals/warranty seals (wherever applicable).

4      Undamaged Product

The product should be undamaged and without any scratches, dents, tears or holes.

5      Undamaged Packaging

Product’s original packaging/box should be undamaged.

Can I return part of my order?

Yes, a return can be created at item level and if you have ordered multiple items, you can initiate a return for a partial quantity.

When are Refunds provided?

We work to provide the most hassle-free online shopping experience. You are covered and your money safe.

Refunds are issued when

– Schön makellos cannot provide replacement

– In-line with Buyer Protection, when a dispute has been ruled in your favour.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

Schön makellos offers free nationwide shipping on all orders. Majority of our orders are dispatched – within 24 to 48 hours of receiving the order and delivered within 4 to 7 working days after being dispatched. Our shipping is done through leading courier services in the country. We will make best efforts to ensure accurate delivery of your products in good condition.

Our shipping and delivery times vary by destination location, and the typical lead times.

It is to be noted that the above mentioned number of days are only tentative timelines and we shall not be obliged to deliver the products within the timelines mentioned above. However, we shall make our best efforts to deliver your orders within the above mentioned timelines.

In the rare event that we are not able to ship your order completely within 7 working days of the order, we will contact you and obtain your instruction as to whether you would want the unshipped part of the order to be cancelled or not. In the event you are desirous of waiting for the shipment of your complete order until the time period intimated by us to you, we will ensure that we make our best efforts to ship the same within the specified period of shipment intimated to you. In the event you are desirous of cancelling the remaining unshipped part of the order, we shall cancel the same, and send you an email informing you about the same. In such cases, your payment against the unshipped part of the order shall be refunded in the manner set out in Returns and Refunds Policy.

We ship on all working days, excluding Sundays and public holidays.

We are not responsible for unexpected shipping delays caused by circumstances such as severe weather or natural disasters or causes beyond our control. In cases such as these, you may either call us or directly contact the courier for the status of your consignment.

Please note all items will be shipped with an invoice mentioning the price, as per Indian Tax Regulations.

Damage of External Packaging

On receipt, if it is noticed that the external packing of the consignment is damaged or tampered with, customers are requested to verify the quality/quantity of the products against the invoice, before accepting the package from the courier agency. In case of any discrepancy is noticed in the packet, customer can either refuse to accept delivery or accept delivery only after putting suitable remark on the proof of delivery. In such cases, the customer is requested to either call or email us intimating us on the issue. Photographs of the delivered product may also be sent to us. We shall handle such issues directly with the respective courier company.

In case you have refused to accept delivery of the consignment, kindly intimate us with the details of your order. Once the package is received in our warehouse, we will cancel the order and we will refund the money in your banking account.

Refund policy

Refunds:

We may provide Refunds in the event of:

i        Cancellation by Customer within 24hrs when the order is placed ,prior to the shipment of the products ordered / purchased.

ii       If the order is cancelled by Schön makellos under some circumstances.

iii      Return of one or more products purchased by the Customer, subject to eligibility for Return.

Refund of amount paid :-

If you have paid using a credit card, refund will be credited to your credit card account, (Will be reflected in next statement) within 5 to 7 working days. If you have paid using debit card/internet banking, amount will be refunded to your bank account within 7 to 14 working days. However, the actual credit to your account will depend on your banks processing time. If you do not receive a credit within this time, please check with your bank and let us know if you face any issues with the same.

Warranty Schön makellos

Schön makellos LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

This product has been manufactured and tested to the highest quality standards by Schön makellos. We offer our customers thoughtfully crafted fixtures & accessories, engineered for enduring performance over years of use.

WHO IS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY

This warranty extends to the original purchaser only. This warranty is not transferable, between homes or owners and is only applicable to residential use.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY

Schön makellos warranties this product against defects due to material or craftsmanship error during the warranty period: Schön makellos will provide replacement parts at no charge, or at its option, replace any product or part of the product that is deemed defective, under normal installation, use, service and maintenance. If Schön makellos is unable to provide a replacement and repair is not practical or cannot be made in timely fashion, Schön makellos may elect to refund the purchase price in exchange for the return of the product.

CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

Like other home fixtures, Schön makellos products will require light maintenance to ensure proper function. We provide you with complete knowledge to perform this maintenance and can also recommend resources if you are unable to fulfil this service.

Schön makellos will not be responsible for product failures due to lack of maintenance or proper use. Schön makellos is not responsible for installation/any civil construction work required during installation of the new products or replacement/repairing of old products. Improper/wrong installation of the products automatically terminates and nullifies the warranty and the warranty does not cover problems arising from low water pressure, more than recommended water pressure, and wear and tear, impurities/hardness beyond the  norms  of  drinking  water  or  improper  care  and  cleaning. The warranty shall not be applicable, in case, if the defect is caused due to improper installation, undesirable working environments such as contaminated water, hardness of water beyond the acceptable limits of drinking water or even by improper handling. Schön makellos  shall repair/replace defective components (after examination by authorised technician) on either chargeable basis or free of charge, as is decided by Schön makellos CARE. For better performance of the product, water pressure should be between 1.5 bar  to  2.5 bar. Schön makellos reserves the right to examine product in question, and its installation, prior to replacement and will replace free of charge any part that proves defective in material and manufacturing workmanship under normal installation, use and service. In the event of any repairs/replacement of any part of the product, the warranty shall thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty. Any time consumed for the repair/ replacement of parts including transit of the product or its parts or any period during which the product has not been used whether under warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period and no extension of the warranty period will be granted.This warranty does not include payment of or responsibility for any taxes and levies, as applicable assessed to the parts supplied or repaired during the warranty period. In the event of non-availability of components or parts due to any reason whatsoever, neither Schön makellos nor its dealer will be responsible or liable for any delay caused in the service/repair of the product. In the event that the same model is not available for replacement, Schön makes will replace the defective product with an equivalent model. Schön makellos’s liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product under any circumstances. Improper care and cleaning will void the warranty.

The original sales receipt, order number, and/or proof of purchase must be presented at the time of the warranty claim, without exception, for this warranty to be applied to all Schön makellos products.

Schön makellos recommends installing all its products with a licensed, professional plumber. Schön makellos will not be held responsible for any damage or product failure due to improper installation, misuse, or failure to use a licensed professional. Please read your care and maintenance documentation to determine the limits of proper use.

Commercial use will automatically void this warranty.

This warranty is not applicable to Schön makellos products purchased from an unauthorised seller.

NON-APPLICABILITY OF THIS WARRANTY

By the purchase and use of our products, you agree that Schön makellos is not liable for incidental, consequential or special damages associated with the return, replacement, installation or use of your product. This includes freight costs, cartridge replacement, labor, travel time, lost profit, home damages and other contingent liabilities and costs (including, without limitation, costs associated with experts, investigations, analyses, attorneys and other professionals and services).  The Schön makellos warranty is a comprehensive and explicit limit of liability, and all items outside of it are not addressable by or the responsibility of Schön makellos Certain states have variances regarding implied warranties and in those situations we remain fully compliant.

Schön makellos makes no implication that products comply with any or all local building or plumbing codes. It is the consumer’s responsibility to determine local code compliance. This warranty extends to the original purchaser and first consumer.

Caution!

Do not over tighten the faucets to the wall/wash basin.

The installation of the product must be performed by qualified specialists.

Schön makellos products are warranted to be free of defects in the material and workmanship for the period of time set forth in the warranty coverage chart as detailed below, commencing from date of sale to the original purchaser.
